The Chrysler Expo is the biggest Chrysler Marque car show in WA.
The Chrysler Expo 2011 will be held at Lathlain Oval on Sunday 6th February 2011. The event offers a chance for members and non-members alike to showcase their prized Mopar's with the option of having their cars judged.
The expo also caters for those looking for parts, information regarding authenticity and restoration with club members from all makes on hand to provide information and advice to those interested in restoring their Chrysler concern vehicle. The day is shaping up to be another successful event, with plenty on show and something for everyone, from the littlies to the big boys with their toys. Come on down to check it out.
The gates open at 9am with presentations at 3pm. Gate admission is $10 for general viewers, $5 for pensioners, with under 16's being free. Those wishing to exhibit their cars pay $10 per vehicle and $20 for a judged vehice, both allowing for 2 adults entry to the show.
In 2007 the Chrysler Expo had a reasonable turnout with 185 Mopars displaying their cars at the Bassendean Oval on Sunday 28th January. A hot 40° day made for lower than expected numbers however the Expo went off without a hitch.
In February 2005 the Charger Club of WA hosted its first Chrysler Expo at Bassendean Oval. The show attracted more than 8,000 people who were in awe of the 249 Mopar cars displayed.
